Welcome to Valerie Holden Designs. I am Valerie Holden and I’m here to help homeowners refresh or remodel their homes to make their house a home by creating a comfortable and inviting environment that they love. I also work with buyers who are having their homes built so they get it right the first time.

I arrived in St. George in 2014 with my husband, Brent. I had just retired after a 20-year career as a police officer. I enjoyed retirement but I was ready to do something new. Brent asked if I would help him with the new retail flooring store he wanted to start, Home Flooring Connection, and I agreed to run the office.

Running the office became helping customers too. My favorite part of being a police officer was helping people and when I started working with customers who were remodeling their homes, I found that I again was helping people, just in a different capacity. Little did I know that I had a talent for picking out exactly what the customers were looking for, and my specialty was putting together the right colors for them. I love seeing how happy they are when their remodel, or new home, is finished and they can enjoy their new home.

In order to help customers even further I became a Certified Home Stager and Color Consultant through HSR and I have studied at the New York Institute of Art and Design.

Now, instead of just helping people in the store with their remodels, my services have expanded into color consultations and redesign for homeowners.

My goal, and promise to you, is to always do my best to get the look you want or need in your home.
